Wyclef Jean releases his autobiography, Purpose: An Immigrant's
Story. In the book, the singer not only discusses his career with The
Fugees, he also exposes shocking accusations about lead singer, Lauryn
Hill. Wyclef accuses Hill of being at the root of the group’s breakup by
leading him into believing her first child was his, when it was
actually Rohan Marleys’ [son of the late Bob Marley]. Jean writes, “In
that moment something died between us. I was married and Lauryn and I
were having an affair, but she led me to believe that the baby was mine,
and I couldn’t forgive that.” Purpose can be found in bookstores today. source:MTV.base
