SBL Launched a campaign “In Good Times and In Bad Times” We are Together and We shall win.

.Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL), through its Premium Serengeti Lager Brand (PSL), launched a campaign called “In Good Times and In Bad, we are Together and We shall win” in support of the Taifa stars ahead of the football game in Njamena, Chad on November 11th 2011 and the return leg which will be held on the 15th in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
Speaking at the press conference today, Serengeti Breweries’ Corporate Relations Director, Mrs Teddy Mapunda said that today is a great day for the Tanzania National Team and for SBL through Premium Serengeti Lager, as the brewer we are keen on motivating the team ahead of the match. Furthermore, the ideals of this campaign are ahead of celebrating the independence in Tanzania.
As the main sponsors, Serengeti Breweries acknowledges and accepts that the National Team didn’t qualify for the African Cup of Nations after their unfortunate match against Morocco, however they still going to give a great amount of support ahead for the World Cup Qualifier Game against Chad. The President of the Tanzanian Football Federation, Leodegar Tenga was also present at the launch and likewise, showed his commitment and support for the National team as he explained that such motivation and support will help raise the standards of Football throughout the country.
Dioniz Malinzi, the Chairman of the National Sports Council who was also a Guest of Honor explained that the national team appreciates as much support as possible from the Sponsors including, The National Sports Council, the Ministry of Sports, Culture and youth Development, TFF and Tanzanians at large.
We would like to thank all of you for the support you have given to our National Team. This is also a continuation of the golden moment’s celebration as we celebrate the achievements Premium Serengeti Lager has had in achieving gold medal in international brewing standards. Premium Serengeti Lager has won gold medals including the German DLG medal in 2009 and 2011 as well as Belgium Monde selection in 2008.
