The singer failed a sobriety test, authorities said, and was riding in a rented yellow Lamborghini when he was stopped.
Bieber was stopped at Pine Tree Drive and 26th Street in Miami, in what appeared to be a somewhat residential neighborhood.
He was likely booked and taken to a nearby jail, where he will have his blood-alcohol level tested and bail will be set, according to TMZ.
Just a day earlier, on Wednesday the singer was seen riding a Segway through Miami streets, and hanging out on the beach with Rapper Lil Scrappy and Bieber's father, Jeremy.
