other artists from Tanzania are slowly emerging in terms of getting a
recognition in other African countries and even beyond, AY has been
there and done that. He is one of the most successful artists in
Tanzania when it comes to recognition as well as business ventures etc.
He is a booking agent for lots of globally recognized artists. He has
successfully managed a number of fellow artists and he continues to
perform. Last year he ventured into television with Mkasi Show which he
co-created with Salama Jabir but also is an Executive Producer for the
show. This year he is up for Channel O Music Video Awards with at least 3 nomination.
Now
when you are that busy and enjoying success, it feels better when you

rumors followed by his own confession through Citizen Radio[AY is
currently in Kenya to shoot a video for Jipe Shavu with Fid Q], he
expects to marry his now fiancée, Dida. AY who is known to be a
close friend of another top Hip Hop artist in Tanzania, MwanaFA, says
in the interview that he think time to settle down has knocked his door.
