Back in action ... Arnold in The Last Stand
ARNOLD Schwarzenegger is back – in his first leading role for a decade.
The 65-year-old action star battles the escaped boss of a Mexican drug cartel
in his new movie, The Last Stand.
And he’ll be in the hotseat at Sun HQ to answer your questions at 1.20 pm on
Tuesday.
The Austrian-born actor began his career as a bodybuilder before moving to the
US where he landed his first acting role in the 1970 film Hercules in New
York.
Eighties blockbuster, Conan the Barbarian, made him a household name and, in
1984, the title role in James Cameron’s sci-fi thriller The Terminator
catapulted him onto the A-list.
As well as two Terminator sequels, Arnie starred in several hit movies
including Predator, Red Heat, and Total Recall.
In 2003, Arnie was voted in as Governor of California, putting his movie
career on hold while he was in office.
He returned to the big screen with a cameo in Sylvester Stallone’s 2010 hit
The Expendables and took a larger role in its sequel last year.
The Last Stand sees his return as leading man, for the first time since
Terminator 3 in 2003.
And it kick-starts an action-packed return – six more movies already in the
pipeline.
They include Triplets – a sequels to the comedy Twins with Danny DeVito – and
plans for a fifth Terminator movie.
Arnie will be answering your questions LIVE on Tuesday lunchtime – exact time
to be confirmed.
