One Mhaya from Karagwe was admitted to a Hospital in Dar for a heart transplant. Prior to the surgery, the doctors needed to have his type of blood in store, just in case the need would arise during the course of the surgery. Apparently he had a rare type of blood, which couldn't be easily found at the hospital. A call went out to volunteers from different regions in Tanzania .
Luckily a Chagga man from Marangu had a similar type of blood. The chagga willingly donated his blood for the Haya man. After the surgery, Mhaya sent the Chagga as appreciation, a new Toyota Prado, diamonds, lapiz lazuri jewellery, and a million US dollars. The Chagga was of course delighted and amazed by Mhaya's generosity.
It was later discovered that the surgery was not very successful and Mhaya had to go through a corrective surgery. His doctor telephoned the Chagga who was more than happy to donate his blood for the second time. All went well with the second surgery, and in order not to look so mean, Mhaya sent the Chagga a thank you card and a jar of sweets.
The Chagga was shocked to see that this time Mhaya did not reciprocate his kindness as he had anticipated.
He phoned Mhaya and said to him 'I thought you'd give me expensive gifts like you did last time. But you've only given me a thank you card and a jar of sweets'.
To this the Haya man replied 'Massawe..... I have Chagga blood in my veins now'

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage.
They were a loving couple and the boy was the gem of their eyes. When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for office so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard. His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the matter. The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle fascinated by its color and drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the childcollapsed the mother hurried him to the hospital, where he died. The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband. When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just five words.

The husband's totally unexpected reaction is a proactive behavior. The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life. There is no pointin finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he had taken time to keep the bottle away, this would not have happened.. No one is to be blamed. She had also lost her only child. What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband. That is what he gave her.
If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world. "A journey of a thousand milesbegins with a single step". Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, selfishness, and fears. And you will find things areactually not as difficult as you think.

Lil' Wayne's Tha Carter III sold 1m copies in its first week in the US
US rapper Lil' Wayne has been nominated for eight Grammy awards, including album of the year for Tha Carter III.
British rock band Coldplay followed close behind with seven nominations, while rappers Kanye West and Jay-Z, and R&B singer Ne-Yo each received six.
Lil' Wayne, Coldplay and Ne-Yo will compete for the prestigious album of the year award, along with Radiohead and Robert Plant with Alison Krauss.
Coldplay, Adele, M.I.A. and Leona Lewis are nominees for record of the year.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 8 February.

Brown may miss the rest of 2008
Manchester United defender Wes Brown has been ruled out for up to five weeks, while striker Dimitar Berbatov will miss two matches.
Brown, 29, last played in the 1-1 draw against Everton at Goodison Park on 25 October and is recovering from an exploratory ankle operation.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said the news was "really disappointing".
Berbatov was substituted with cramp during Bulgaria's 6-1 defeat by Serbia and has a slight hamstring strain.
