The 45-year-old superstar made a surprise appearance and performed a medley of her greatest hits on stage at Rogers Arena on Oct. 22 in Vancouver, Canada.She closed out the show, which had a live audience of 20,000 students.
What Is We Day?
We Day brings young people together to celebrate the actions that they are taking in their local and global communities and to inspire another year of change by sharing the passion of world leaders and entertainers, the event’s website states.Selena Gomez hosted the event, while Orlando Bloom spoke. Other speakers and performers who appeared include Nick Jonas, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and the cast of Degrassi!
“Speaking at We Day California last spring was truly a life-changing experience,” Selena said in a news release before the event, according to Vancouver Sun. “Sharing that moment with thousands of my peers left me feeling incredibly inspired — I believe that together we can actually make a difference in the world. I am so happy to be back and hosting We Day Vancouver this year.”
Clearly, Jennifer Lopez also wanted to feel inspired, but we think she may have been the one who was inspiring us.
